“Am I the only one who feels like this?”

You feel lonely. Those around you don’t seem to understand what you are going through. Being around people you perceive as functioning well at work and school intensifies your feelings of inadequacy and emotional pain.

Exploring your concerns and fears could be much richer and more meaningful if done in the company of people with similar challenges who can listen, relate, and support.

Healing with others can be very transformational when you feel that others around you genuinely understand your experience.

Therefore, I also offer services in the form of online groups. If you are interested in learning more about participating in those services, please contact me.

Heal with other like-minded people.

Online groups aim to connect you with individuals with similar concerns or backgrounds who can provide validation and support. The group experience provides a format whereby the group members promote healing and growth in each other through their interactions.

In the group dynamic, you will learn how to provide effective feedback to others and accept and integrate feedback provided to you. The connections made in the group will promote feelings of safety and trust.

Those connections will evolve and help you reconnect with yourself and others. You will benefit from healing and growing while also supporting those in the group.

This healing experience may be the answer for you.

The online group sizes that I lead vary between five and ten participants. You and the other participants will have a shared experience and background. I lead groups focusing on childhood trauma healing and sexual orientation support.

Group expectations will address confidentiality, attendance, respect, and group participation. If you are an introvert or not used to talking much in group settings, we will help you challenge yourself to contribute to the discussions. We understand this will take courage and time.
